Dance It Forward is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational arts organization serving dancers of all ages and backgrounds in York, Pennsylvania. Our mission is to make high-quality dance education, performance opportunities, leadership development, and community outreach accessible to our community. Through dance education and artistic experiences, we help dancers develop technique, confidence, creativity, discipline, teamwork, and a lasting appreciation for the performing arts.

Dance Education
We provide dance education across a variety of styles and experience levels, from early childhood programs through adult classes.
Performance Opportunities
Dancers have opportunities to perform, develop stage experience, and participate in productions and performance programs.
Leadership Development
Our programs give dancers opportunities to grow in confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership.
Community Outreach
We work to bring the experience and benefits of dance to the broader community through outreach and artistic programming.
Access & Financial Assistance
We work to make participation in dance more accessible and provide assistance when financial circumstances create barriers to participation.

For dancers seeking targeted and fun performance training, leadership experiences and additional performance opportunities. Includes Greater York Youth Ballet, Youth Ensemble, NHSDA Ensemble, and the Hip Hop Crew
