Internships
EDUCATIONAL IMPROVEMENT TAX CREDIT (EITC)
Opportunities are available to sponsor our major performances or educational outreach programs that benefit many. The State of Pennsylvania has made tax credits of $100 million available through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program (EITC).This allows qualified donor organizations to donate up to 90% of their PA State tax obligation to the Dance It Forward, which has been approved as an Educational Improvement Organization.
VOLUNTEER
We depend on volunteers and gives members of the community a chance to be involved through several types of volunteer programs and committees. We could not possibly make it through a season without the community and family volunteers who make so many great things happen. Everyone is encouraged to get involved and to volunteer! You’ll make friends for a lifetime. All volunteers need their clearances according to PA law.

SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER
Volunteering is appreciated and welcomed of parents with clearances. Volunteering is only required by members of our performing companies. Backstage volunteers do not purchase tickets to the performance in which they volunteer.
Under NO circumstances may anyone volunteer without having submitted their clearances – Child Abuse & State Police. It is the sole responsibility of the volunteer to ON THEIR OWN to submit this information that will be reviewed prior to each performance or volunteer event. You will be turned away from the event if we do not have these on file.

ASSISTING AT PERFORMANCES
Many opps from sewing and refreshments to stage management to set building and tech.
SERVING ON A COMMITTEE
Join the Parents Committee, a group of positive parents working for the dancers.
PROVIDING OFFICE SUPPORT
Can you fold and staple? Are you willing to answer the phone? Or, do you have computer skills? Assist by volunteering to do office extras.
FACILITY OPERATIONS & HANDYMAN SERVICE
We are always looking for talented people who are able to assist with minor repairs around the building. Do painting, light carpentry work? Eager to help? Please contact us and join us in benefiting our community with quality dance.
Report of criminal history from the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP); and Child Abuse History Clearance from the Department of Human Services (Child Abuse). Additionally, a fingerprint based federal criminal history (FBI) submitted through the Pennsylvania State Police or its authorized agent is required if the volunteer has lived outside the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the last 10 years.
